Building Family Strengths by Supporting Family Engagement in Today’s World
Course 4: Community Partnerships
It takes a village but sometimes it only feels like you. In this course we will discuss the importance of community connections. Citing the research, we will examine how families are impacted by their environments and how early educators can provide support through engagement. Families do better when they have strong foundations in place and know where they can go for help. We will identify strategies for strengthening relationships within our communities, so all families feel welcome and included.
This self-paced course includes the following 3 modules:
- Module 1 - Making the Case for Strong Community Connections
- Module 2 - Creating Reciprocal and Beneficial Partnerships
- Module 3 - Connecting Families With Community Resources
Modules include text, image, and video content, knowledge checks, practice activities, discussions, and a quiz. You will recieve a certificate unpon successful completion of the course.
