Workshop sessions will be held Wednesday, April 21st and Thursday, April 22nd from 10:00AM - 2:00PM EST.
This workshop is geared toward introductory and intermediate levels of algae identification. Virtual lectures will introduce the most common types of algae (green algae, diatoms, and cyanobacteria commonly found in freshwater) and how to sample different habitats. Students will learn algae identification with live microscope feeds with fresh and preserved samples. Offered with Ohio EPA contact hours for certification.
8 Ohio EPA credit hours will be available.
